Fordham University

Fordham University is a private educational research university based in New York City, USA. founded by the Catholic Diocese of New York in 1841.

Fordham consists of ten constituent college, four of which are for undergraduate and six are for graduate students. It enroll approximately 15,000 students on three campuses in New York State: Rose Hill in the Bronx, Lincoln Center in Manhattan, and Westchester in West Harrison. In addition to this campus, the University maintains a study abroad center in England and field offices in Spain and South Africa. Fordham awards Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and a Bachelor of Arts degree Arts, as well as a variety of master's and doctoral degrees. 2015 edition of US News and World Report list of Fordham as "more selective" national universities and ranks it 58th in this category.
Fordham Preparatory School, a four-year, all-male college preparatory school, once integrated with the University and share its founding. It became an independent law in 1972 and moved to its own facility in the northwest corner of the campus of Rose Hill; However, the schools remain connected to the University in many ways.

Fordham operate Louis Calder Center, a biological field station 30 miles (50 km) north of New York City in Armonk, New York. It consists of 114 acres (0.46 km2) with a wooded 10-acre (40,000 m2) of the lake and 19 buildings. The structure of the house labs and classrooms, offices for faculty and administrators, library, and shelter.

Outside the US, the University maintains a small campus at Heythrop College, the Jesuit school of philosophy and theology from the University of London. The campus is home to several business and liberal arts programs, and graduate of Fordham College at Lincoln Center in London Dramatic Academy [81] In addition, Fordham operates field offices in Granada, Spain, and Pretoria, South Africa .; which houses undergraduate study abroad program. [55] Finally, the University provides the faculty for the Beijing International MBA at Peking University in China. This program has been ranked # 1 in China by Fortune and Forbes Magazine since its formation by Fordham in 1998.
