University of the Pacific

University of the Pacific (Pacific), is a private university in Stockton, California.didirikan on July 10, 1851, in Santa Clara, CA with the name California Wesleyan College. School moved to San Jose in 1871 and then to Stockton in 1923. Pacific accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

In addition to liberal arts colleges, and schools of education, engineering, business, international studies and music, he has three professional graduate schools: the School of Dentistry in San Francisco, School of Law in Sacramento, and the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences located in Stockton .

This University is the only private institution in the United States with less than 10,000 students to offer professional degrees from eight different schools, providing a broad mix of undergraduate and professional education offers. Pacific offers more than 100 academic programs and more than 60 graduate degrees. In the 2010 US News & World Report rankings, Pacific ranked as the 99th best university, one of the 40 best value colleges, and universities renowned for economic and ethnic diversity.
