Willamette University

Willamette University is a private liberal arts university, located in Salem, Oregon, United States. Founded in 1842, originally named Oregon Willamette University Institute. Willamette University is the oldest university in the Western United States.

Currently, through colleges and schools, including the College of Liberal Arts, College of Law, Atkinson Graduate School of Management, and the School of Education, Willamette University offers a wide range of majors studies with various academic degree programs in it.

The mission of the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) is to "maintain arrangements that encourage and sustain students and faculty in the practice of liberal education."
