University of the Ozarks

University of the Ozarks is a private university located in Clarksville, Arkansas, United States. The University was founded in 1834 by the Cumberland Presbyterian as Cane Hill School. Until now, the oldest university in Arkansas are still affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.In 1875, the university became the first school in Arkansas who claim a student.

In 1959, the University of the Ozarks Being historically white universities in Arkansas's first African-American graduate students.
