Saint Cloud State University

Saint Cloud State University was founded in 1869, one of the largest schools in the Minnesota State College and University (MnSCU) system, which is the largest institution of higher education providers in Minnesota, Saint Cloud State University is a public university located in Beaver Island on the Mississippi River in St. Cloud, Minnesota, United States. First opened, Saint Cloud State University is the school to produce college-level programs that provide training for teachers.

Students can choose from more than 200 majors, minors and pre-professional programs in six colleges and schools.

Among the undergraduate programs include accounting records, land surveying and mapping science, nursing and meteorology.

St. Cloud State is the only university that offers Minnesota Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited manufacturing engineering program. It also offers an ABET-accredited electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science programs. Master of engineering management is the only Minnesota program certified by the American Society of Engineering Management.

The Graduate School offers more than 60 graduate and certificate programs, including specialists, Master of Arts, Master of Business Administration, Master of Engineering Management, Master of Music and a Master of Science. Ed.D. doctorate offered in Higher Education Administration and Educational Administration and Leadership.

The master's program record includes a Master of Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs & Services, Medical Technology and Applied Clinical Research Quality. They are one of the programs offered in the Twin Cities Graduate Center in Maple Grove.

St. Cloud State has 32 education-abroad programs, including programs in the streets of Alnwick Castle in northern England.

University education system has been equipped with various facilities. One is SCSU Science Express is fully mobile, science lab on campus that had been brought into the world of high-tech science education for thousands of students K-12.

Of athletic, sports team Saint Cloud State University consists of a team of men and women teams compete in NCAA Division II, except hockey team that competes in Division I. SCSU hockey team has produced many professional hockey players who have joined with several famous teams, like Flyers Philadelphia and Washington Capitals.
