Technical University of Denmark

Technical University of Denmark (Danish: Danmarks Tekniske Universitet), often simply referred to as DTU, is a university in Kongens Lyngby, north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Established in 1829 at the initiative of Hans Christian Ørsted as the first polytechnic Denmark, and is currently ranked among the leading engineering institutions in Europe, and the best engineering universities in the Nordic countries DTU, together with the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne ,. Eindhoven University of Technology and Technische Universität München, is a member of the Eurotech University Alliance.
